Veterinary Practice Manager (RCVS VN)
Paula is our amazing Practice Manager. Originally hailing from England, Paula graduated from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in Veterinary Nursing in 1994. She moved to Australia in 2000 and now lives on a busy farm surrounded by a range of furry and feathered friends - including horses, chickens, sheep, dogs, cats and Dr Brian. On the rare occasion that she has a day off, you can catch her painting (she is a brilliant artist) or making mugs!

Amanda Moncrieff
Veterinary Nurse (Cert 4)
Amanda (affectionately known as Mandy) has worked at Belmont Vet Hospital since 2008. She obtained her Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV at Kurri Kurri TAFE and over the past 12 years, has learnt every trick in the book for keeping animals comfortable and calm. Mandy lives at home with her hubby, beautiful young son and 2 cheeky greyhounds. In her free time, Mandy enjoys camping, baking and kicking back to a good Netflix series.

Rosa moved to Australia from Finland in 2014. After studying her Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV at Sydney TAFE, she opted for a sea-change and headed north to Newcastle with her partner. Rosa joined the team at Belmont Vet Hospital in 2019. In her spare time, Rosa can be found hiking, horse riding and exploring the beautiful beaches that Newcastle has to offer.

I finished my Certificate 4 in veterinary nursing at Gosford TAFE in 2023 and started at Belmont in 2024. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time gardening, reading, or spending time with my many pets. I’ve got 2 toy poodles, a bearded dragon, 2 turtles, 2 snakes, and a gecko.

In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, playing the guitar and caring for her many pets which include a labrador, golden retriever, 2 cats, 4 bearded dragons, 4 geckos and 2 turtles.

Despite her young looks, Beth has been nursing with the Belmont Vet team since day dot. She has a special interest in surgery and her newly adopted staffy pup Maze. When not working, Beth can be found honing her impressive skills as a SFX make-up artist and drawing.

Kailei has been with Belmont Vets on and off since completing 'The Big Picture' via school in Year 9. She is currently working towards her Cert 4 and when she's not busy 'out the back', she loves going clubbing!
